Cafe Greco

This is a Mediterranean cafe that can not be missed in this area. We ordered the seafood platter for two, a meatball as entree, and a chicken souvlaki. Everything was so yummy and in a great amount. Every seafood lover should order the platter, first of all, the freshness of it was evident, from shrimp to fish, a perfect selection. The staff was nice and friendly, creating a perfect setting for a delightful meal. Can’t wait to return to try more of their delectable dishes.

This place is interesting to say the least Firstly I would like to say the service by the staff was outstanding. Our waiters were more than happy to help and were prompt and cheery. However, I have much sympathy for the conditions that they have to work in. The floor was stupidly slippery regardless of the wet floor signs the floor was dry. Upon entering I looked like a cartoon character skidding before they go to run. Members of my party slipped over countless times even after they got back up. 2 poor waiters slipped whilst HOLDING FOOD dropping the meals this ruining their evenings. No apologies made by any staff to our party. It was very dangerous and I cannot recommend bringing elderly family here as it is just not safe. Lastly the food was average at best. The lamb was dry and the chicken was too oily. It lacked flavour and was unfortunately very under seasoned. I would love to say I'd come back but certainly will not as it's dangerous and food is of average quality. My advice is to get take away from here and for the waiters to find other jobs as I can guarantee they are not being paid above minimum for these terrible conditions.

First let me preface my partner’s meal was delicious however served not hot. We waited nearly 45 minutes (to be honest, not overly busy) to get our meal. I received my beef Wagyu burger which looked scrumptious, but that’s where it ended. It was dry and tasteless. My chips were served with two sauces so I used them and slathered onto the bun to try and help, but it didn’t. I hate wasting food, but on this occasion I left over half of it behind as (to me - and my opinion only) it was inedible. We have been to this restaurant before and enjoyed the meal, so I’m hoping it was an off night.

I am deeply saddened to share a recent experience at this establishment. My family and I ordered from the kids' menu, and while my daughter enjoyed her meal at the restaurant, we were shocked to find a bone in the chicken when we brought the leftover home. This is an incredibly alarming discovery, especially considering that the dish is intended for children. I must emphasize that while the service was delightful, the presence of a bone in the chicken is wholly unacceptable. We were fortunate that my daughter did not ingest it, but the potential hazard is very distressing. As a result, we left feeling very disheartened and disappointed by this concerning oversight

I’ve given this place many chances over the years but not once have I been impressed. Every single time I’ve eaten here, there’s been issues. Tables that arrived 20-30 minutes after us, got their food first. Half our tables food was cold and dry. Food is unimpressive and not authentically Greek. Everything is ALWAYS dry, below average flavour and often cold. Their kids meals are so expensive for the quality and amount you get. All around not a great place.
